Welcome to the Conversation

Let’s talk about death. Who says that? Nobody. Very few subjects are so taboo, but I am glad you are here. I can help you find ways to talk about this mysterious process.

For some reason, I have always been fascinated by death. It wasn’t until the death of my own brother that I understood why it’s so terrifying. Losing a loved one is the worst. My emotions were intense and overwhelming. It wasn’t until I was able to name my emotions that I began to make some sense of it. For two years, I wrestled with the meaning of my brother’s death. With the help of a psychologist and a spiritual director, I was able to speak my rage and defiance of this reality.

It has been over 30 years since my brother’s death. I’ve learned so much in that time and want to help others get through this difficult process. Only by speaking your truth can the mystery be more manageable. I’m with you all the way.
